Having served Nebraska for over twenty years in executive, not-for-profit leadership roles, I am passionate about the growth and prosperity of the state. With vast experience in developing strategic partnerships and fundraising, with a proven track record of driving results, engagement, and activation, my core leadership competencies include:Activator/Convener - identifying and working with top state and industry leaders on a vision for growing Nebraska by creating public and private partnerships, inspiring leaders, and developing actionable, scalable, and replicable regional and industry-based initiatives.    Joined the Aksarben Foundation as President in 2017 and works alongside the Aksarben Board of Directors to develop and deploy action around business-led, outcome-oriented initiatives across the state of Nebraska, both by industry and by region. Overseeing and implementing the strategic direction of the Foundation and the entire Aksarben network - including the Nebraska Tech Collaborative, Northeast Nebraska Growing Together, Full-Value Ag, and InternNE - all \"Powered by Aksarben\". With over twenty-five years in not-for-profit leadership, relationship cultivation, fundraising, and vast experience in higher education and scholarship administration, Sandra brings a strong knowledge of leadership and has a proven track record of driving results, engagement, and activation. She develops and implements an annual fundraising plan at levels necessary to achieve goals and ensures financial and other internal processes are documented and followed. Sandra recevied her Bachelor\'s from Briar Cliff University and a Master\'s Degree from Iowa State. She is a graduate of the Leadership Nebraska program (Class XI) and a Trustee of the Business Ethics Alliance of Omaha.
