The Dispute Resolution Institute (DRI) was founded in 1994 to provide parties with the opportunity to resolve their disputes in a timely, private and cost effective manner in a user-friendly forum. Unlike the court system, each case submitted to DRI is given the priority and individualized attention it deserves. Private dispute resolution provides participants with a high degree of control over resolution of their dispute.The majority of cases submitted to DRI are resolved through the standard alternative dispute resolution processes of arbitration and mediation. When required to satisfy specific or unique needs of the disputants, DRI utilizes hybrids of these processes or custom designs procedures that are flexible and individualized. This specialized approach insures that the best process available for a particular dispute is utilized. DRI contrasts markedly from the judicial system where all cases are generally handled in the same fashion. DRI insures that the \"forum fits the fuss.\"
