   Autism Improvised is all about helping young folks and adults with Asperger\'s/autism develop social communication skills through the principles of improv. We still have deep roots in our founding program Shenanigans Improv (2009), our fun-with-a-purpose approach to developing self-confidence. In 2012, we added Code Breakers for young adults headed into competitive employment, college, and relatively independent living. In 2014, Bright Paths joined our transitions-focused programming lineup. Bright Paths addresses the issues and vulnerabilities of teen girls with high-functioning autism as they navigate the path to independence and self-advocacy. By gaining a better understanding of the hidden code of interpersonal relating, our young adults learn skills to help them not only cope, but flourish, at work, in the community, and in relationships.We offer weekly classes throughout the year, school break camps, workshops, and special events in a growing list of host locations throughout the metro Atlanta area. We also partner with schools, municipalities, and other organizations in service to those on the autism spectrum.As executive director and founder, responsible for all aspects of business start-up, operation, and growth, including vision and strategic planning, program development, team recruitment, program branding and marketing, networking, communicating with the autism community - families and professionals, venue procurement, managing class registrations and finances, and fundraising.
