Having sat at G7, NATO and bilateral meetings, I support leaders to deliver maximum results on key priorities. A decisive global affairs executive and former Chief of Staff to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development and Official Languages, I am trusted to counsel senior Cabinet Ministers on the world stage. For over a decade I have provided intelligence and analysis that influence local, national and global policy. I have a thorough understanding of the federal government system and how to navigate within it. Recent national and international accomplishments include:* Demonstrating Canada’s commitment to Ukraine and strong influence across nations on the world stage, including a direct contribution to the design and implementation of Canada’s diplomatic response to Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine.* Championing Canada’s first Indo-Pacific Strategy. Garnering support from several departments across government, leading to a fully funded strategy -$2.3B.* Spearheading team and influencing decision makers during pandemic to create Regional Relief and Recovery Fund that saved 100s of thousands of jobs across Canada.* Identifying and securing $2B+ to provide funds to businesses and third-party organizations in budget 2021.* Developing then tabling update to Canada’s Official Languages Act, the largest proposed changes to this cornerstone legislation in 30+ years.
