ABOUT SANDRA SCOLASTRA
I completed my studies in Structural Engineering in 2001 and worked in Italy as Design and Project engineer for consultant firms. I then became Lead Engineer of the design office of a steelwork contractor, Omac srl, where I gained experience in the cladding industry.In 2005 I moved in London and worked as Senior Façade Engineer for Ramboll (former Whitbybird), and now Arup, working closely with prestigious architects from the early stages of the projects to the deliver and site construction phase.I have built a considerable experience on façade systems, complex façade design for challenging projects, performance and prescriptive specification, testing and project management. I has a good knowledge of all aspects of façade engineering, from thermal and solar control to installation and cleaning strategies.
