ABOUT SANDRA SCHAEFFER

I’m a strategic People & Culture leader with more than two decades of experience building inclusive, high-performing teams where people can thrive. My work sits at the intersection of equity, engagement, leadership development, and organizational strategy - transforming vision into measurable results.I’m passionate about bridging executive priorities with the lived realities of frontline teams. I’ve led enterprise-wide people strategies, created DEI governance structures and supported ERGs, built leadership capability at scale, and expanded engagement programs from to over people across Canada and the United States - including employees, owner-operators, and agency workers in one of North America’s most diverse and immigrant-powered industries.With deep expertise in employment law (Canada and U.S.), workforce analytics, leadership coaching, and program design, I bring a data-driven and human-centered approach to every challenge. My experience includes developing foundational leadership training on performance management, progressive discipline, duty to accommodate, and psychologically safe workplaces; designing inclusive leadership programs; and delivering strategies that improve engagement scores and cultural outcomes year over year.At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of transformative learning, collaboration, and inclusion. I love building the conditions where people feel valued, empowered, and connected - and where organizations achieve their most ambitious goals because their people have the skills, support, and environment to succeed.
