ABOUT SANDRA NAUMANN
I have been working for over 20 years in policy consultancy, public administration, research and international cooperation. My work focuses on the evaluation and enhancement of European and national land use, biodiversity conservation and spatial planning policies and their links to climate change. This work involves a set of key activities: policy analysis and development of policy recommendations, working at the policy-science-society interface, deploy participatory approaches to involve stakeholders and end-users and mainstreaming of solutions.A special focus is on the development and deployment of green and blue infrastructure and nature-based solutions in cities. In this context I work on the assessment of preferences and perceptions of residents, costs and benefits of green and blue urban spaces, evaluation of pertinent policy and governance frameworks, learning and knowledge processes and the implementation of optimal solutions in cities.
