ABOUT SANDRA M.
Building Flashquad, an app to discover niche communities and hyper-local events. After working in the social media industry, I realized something important: we are more than just consumers, and we shouldn’t get comfortable spending so much of our lives online. I became passionate about building technology that enhances, rather than replaces, human connections. That belief is at the core of Flashquad. The idea came from our own experience of constantly missing out on events and only discovering them later through someone else’s story. I kept asking myself: how did I not know about this? Everyone should have the chance to know what’s happening around them. FOMO shouldn’t exist when it comes to community and connection - and that’s exactly why we built Flashquad.
