About Sandra Espinoza
Hi! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. I received my doctorate of psychology degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, Los Angeles. I also hold a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, Irvine as well as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Aside from clinical practice, I am also an Associate Professor at Alliant International University and the Branch Director for the Los Angeles campus. I am a strong advocate for immigration reform and immigration rights, so much of my research has centered around how to best address the mental health needs of immigrants impacted by deportation. I have spent most of my clinical career working with undocumented individuals and families at the community mental health level.
