ABOUT SANDRA DA SILVA PÉREZ

I am a translator-interpreter and proofreader specialized in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Galician. Grown up in a multilingual environment and as a Spanish-French citizen, I have always been a passionate for languages. This pathway led me to study Translation and Interpreting in the University of Vigo and afterwards the master in Conference Interpreting in the University of La Laguna, which belongs to the EMCI (European Masters in Conference Interpreting) network. I have translated a wide range of texts, especially legal, economic, fishing and marketing texts, as well as video games. Besides, I have worked as a conference interpreter in different types of events and as a community interpreter in hospitals and local councils. Al haber crecido en un entorno multilingüe y como ciudadana española-francesa, los idiomas siempre me han apasionado. Debido a esta trayectoria, estudié el grado en Traducción e Interpretación de la Universidad de Vigo y posteriormente el máster en Interpretación de Conferencias de la Universidad de La Laguna, el cual forma parte de la red de másters europeos de interpretación de conferencias (EMCI). He traducido una amplia variedad de textos, especialmente textos jurídicos, económicos, de pesca y de mercadotecnia, así como videojuegos. Asimismo, he trabajado como intérprete de conferencias en diferentes eventos y como intérprete de servicios públicos en hospitales y ayuntamientos.
