About Sandra Barkevich

Sandra Barkevich is the Business, Career Explorations, and Computer Science Instructor at HFM Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) where she teaches both college and high school courses to freshmen and sophomore students. She holds a Master of Arts in Learning and Emerging Technologies and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College. Additionally, Barkevich received the 2015 Empire State College Student Service Award, 2014 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and, in 2013, was recognized as one of the Hispanic Coalition New York’s 40 Under 40 Rising Latino Stars. She also represented the SUNY Empire State College student body as a speaker during the 2014 inauguration of President Merodie A. Hancock and at the 2014 commencement ceremony in Saratoga Springs, N.Y, and represented the college at the 2015 Capital District Leadership Council on Inclusion.
