Montreal, QC, CA

I lead strategic growth initiatives in the Grow division at Unity. We help creators turn their projects into successful businesses. My focus is on two main areas:Consumer Apps: Building and executing the strategy for our expansion into the consumer apps space through the Grow product line.SMB & Indie Developers: Shaping how we serve small and mid-sized studios—an area that drives a meaningful share of our division’s revenue in the lower double-digit range.A few years ago ironSource merged with Unity, which marked a pivotal moment in my career. As part of this transition, I shifted into a role focused more deeply on business development and market expansion, moving away from leading a large, revenue-focused organization. This change allowed me to deepen my expertise in strategic growth and directly contribute to shaping the future of the division.I currently manage a team of 10 and work closely with product, marketing, GTM, and leadership teams to turn ideas into measurable impact. My role centers on driving innovation and building scalable strategies that help creators succeed.

ABOUT SANDRA AMIR

I am a growth-focused leader with 10 years of experience in the gaming tech space. I’ve worked my way up through different roles, and today I focus on identifying new opportunities to grow the business and deliver more value to our partners. For the past three years, I have led two strategic areas within Unity\'s Grow Division. We help creators turn their projects into successful businesses: 1. Consumer Apps – Developing our strategy to expand into this space through the Grow product line. SMB & Indie Developers – Enhancing how we serve smaller studios, an area that accounts for a meaningful share of our division’s revenue in the lower double-digit range. A few years ago, I transitioned from running a large, revenue-focused organization (with 35+ people) to a more strategic, focused role. My goal was to build new skills in business development and help open up markets we hadn’t explored before. I now lead a team of 10 and collaborate closely with product, marketing, and senior leadership to shape where we go next. Originally from Germany, I’ve built my career across different cultures and countries. That experience has shaped how I lead—bringing a global perspective and a strong belief in the power of diverse, inclusive teams. Supporting women in leadership, fostering cross-cultural teamwork, and creating space for people to thrive and succeed are values that anchor me—both personally and professionally. Often being the only woman in senior discussions, I think about these topics quite a bit and am always looking to connect with like-minded female leaders so we can support and uplift each other.
