Mechanical engineering graduate with post graduate diploma in business management (operations management) and 23 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. Technical Authority Level-2 for rotating equipment engineering and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in rotating equipment control and safeguarding. Diverse experience ranging from 10 years of operations & maintenance in an Ethylene Cracker Complex (outside Shell) and 13 years of experience within Shell. Shell experience entails leadership role in setting up a new organization for global support of MRTA (Maintenance, Reliability and Turnaround), leading engineering contractors to deliver fit for purpose technical assurance for rotating equipment engineering and leading remote monitoring and diagnostics activities for Asia-Pac to deliver deferment savings/achieve gap to potential.Key dimensions of the achievements during the career.Financial dimension: Delivered cumulative CAPEX savings of 20 million$+ for projects (brownfield & greenfield), managed 100 million$+ scope for rotating equipment for a single project (SINGA Growth), managed turnaround scope of approx. 10million$(outside Shell).Technical dimension: Provided steer and technical guidance to engineering partners to deliver complex greenfield and brownfield project from concept-select to FEED (from CAPEX ranging from 10million $ to 2.5 billion $). Led multiple root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, remote monitoring & diagnostics activities, complex overhauls of major rotating machinery (30MW+). Led process safety audits, took part in multiple HAZOPs, conducted TAMAP audits, developed technical standards (DEP and IOGP), conducted safety critical element identification, PM Library implementation workshop for Majnoon, Arrow Energy. Skill level at digital tools like Polarion, AVEVA, SAP, Primavera.Organizational dimension: Managed engineering partners through the IPMT (Integrated Project Management Team) ways of working, successfully grown the MRTA organization in India (from 5 staff to 50+ staff), led the remote monitoring and diagnostics for the Asia Pac region. Established strong collaboration with key suppliers (MHI, MAN TURBO, HOWDEN, BH, FLOWSERVE and others) to deliver supply chain transformation. Key contribution for competency development of staff and imparted face to face training at international location like NCOC Kazakhstan and PDO Oman.
