The NMIS is one of the seven High-Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC) centres across the UK, the only one in Scotland. As a manufacturing engineer, I have been contributing to a wide range of research projects in technical delivery, project management, business development and strategy development activities. • Collaboratively working on Core-Research and Development (CR & D) and industrial-funded projects in the field of advanced manufacturing that includes hydrogen innovation, sustainable manufacturing, lightweight manufacturing, sheet metal forming and method of manufacturing assessment. • Extensively working on developing manufacturing technologies from TRL-3 to TRL-6 for aerospace, Defence and Automotive industries. • Leading multiple integrated projects ensuring their timely completion in accordance with client and NMIS Quality Management requirements within provided timescales and budgets. • Leading training program development for the industry on lightweight manufacturing with international collaborators. • Presenting research findings to industrial partners, liaising with clients, drafting technical reports, and research proposals for funding, guiding a university student, data analysis, and building road maps for a high quality of research.
