Drive safety improvements across plant by driving a safety culture throughout the plant, support risk assessment, support mitigation of long pending action points for reducing risk priority score, promote TOP’s process, etc. Support in Equipment/ Machine selection and capital purchase. Recommend and generates CERs. Write acceptable financial justifications for equipment replacement and upgrades, as well as building/grounds repairs or improvements. Executes project plan post approval to ensure ROI expectations are met per justification. Equipment selection and process design for improving plant efficiency Drives Year over Year productivity improvements through project plan development and execution as related to VAVE initiatives and overall manufacturing process improvement activities. Support waste variation and overburden reduction initiatives with ideation to implementation to improve in process sigma level and productivity. Facilitate Standard work Kaizen for the plant for improving the lead times and reducing the cycle time. Administration of Equipment maintenance activities across the plant supporting spare planning, promote RCA, promote preventive maintenance and promote IoT for condition based monitoring. Drive TPM Kaizens for Equipment uptime improvement. Drive SMED Kaizens for setup time reduction. Administration for maintenance budget Administration for Consumable budget across the plant. Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment. Continuously aligns factory layout with business needs and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment. Implementation of multiple welding Technologies like Robotic MiG welding, Plasma Welding, Automatic TiG cladding, etc. Facilitate multiple welding/welder qualifications, etc.
