LEASING- Outside real estate counsel for several hospitals, skilled nursing operators and other health care providers, handling the drafting and negotiation of hundreds of leases, including facility, medical office and ground leases- Represented hospital in negotiation and drafting of $36M long term lease for development of new hospital campus medical office building- Represented national health system in negotiation and drafting of $24M long term lease for rural hospital.M&A AND AFFILIATIONS - Representation of health systems with physician practice acquisitions for development of outpatient department, foundation and other clinic locations consistent with corporate practice of medicine and regulatory issues- Representation of healthcare district with ambulatory clinic strategy and implementation. FINANCINGS - Represented hospitals in HUD financings ranging from $17M to $200M, including construction financing for a new hospital patient tower- Borrower’s counsel for CCRC in connection with public offering tax-exempt bond financing transaction through the CHFFA- Represented nursing home chain in $60M secured financing ($30M revolver and $30M term loan).
