I am currently working as an Environmental Advisor for The Environmental Regulation & Permitting Team at Yorkshire Water.As an Environmental Advisor I provide advice to the business on matters concerning environmental regulation, to the business on the impact of new, changed and existing environmental legislation. Liaising with the Environmental Agency ensuring all aspects are compliant with the correct permits and licenses applied. Working in a smaller team, I deliver regulatory and permitting support advice to capital investment schemes to ensure that they comply with the Company’s environmental quality obligations. Using my technical knowledge gained from my academic background and work experience I ensure that policies, procedures and associated interpretations are up to date and disseminated within the business.I am an eager learner who is always looking for opportunities to develop my newly profound environmental knowledge and to complete rewarding and fulfilling work to make the world a better place.
