September 2016 - present: Consultant Forensic and General Adult Psychiatrist at 2gether NHS Foundation Trust for Herefordshire. 2001 to August 2016: Consultant Forensic and General Adult Psychiatrist at Partnerships in Care, West Midlands, South West and Wales. 2001 to 2015: Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist at Llanarth Court Psychiatric hospital in Monmouthshire; a secure psychiatric hospital that specialises in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of mentally disordered offenders in medium secure, low secure and open conditions. 2005 to 2016: Consultant Forensic and General Adult Psychiatrist at Abbey House; a unit specialising in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with enduring psychiatric disability and complex needs. 2002 and 2013; Visiting Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to HMP & YOI Ashfield. I was involved in the assessment, treatment and management of juvenile offenders (15-18 year olds) with psychiatric disorders. 2001 to present: a medico-legal practice based around the psychiatric assessment of young offenders and adults for the purpose of the criminal, family and civil courts. I have appeared as a medical expert for the prosecution and defence in over 650 criminal and family cases in the past 13 years. I have provided psychiatric reports in over 110 homicide cases and given oral testimony in numerous cases
