Advise owners and operators of corrective measures for deficiencies and violations. Apprise owners and operators of continuing and/or serious violations. Represent the state public health department in joint inspections with federal agencies. Possess State Shellfish Officer, FDA, and Licensed Environmental Health Professional credentials.Administer examinations for the licensing of bulk milk tank operators and samplers.Respond to citizen, local health department, or other state or federal agency inquiries or complaints regarding health conditions or exposure to food hazards.Train industry professionals and state government inspectors in HACCP principles. Audit inspectors.
