ABOUT SANDEEP P.

My construction journey started on one of the tallest buildings of my career, an 83-storey, 283m high-rise. I was part of the structural delivery team, working floor-by-floor with slipform systems, tight tolerances, and nonstop coordination. That experience set the tone for how I work, hands-on, focused, and committed to getting things right on site.Today, I’m an Site Engineer on a £120m residential project in London with a Tier 1 contractor, responsible for reinforced concrete works from setting out and rebar inspections to QA documentation, RAMS reviews, and supporting temporary works. I work closely with supervisors and subcontractors to ensure delivery stays safe, on spec, and on programme.Over time, I’ve developed a solid understanding of reinforced concrete, construction sequencing, QA/QC, and technical coordination. I’ve worked with both main contractors and subcontractors, which has helped me build a practical, problem-solving mindset, not just a technical one.Whether it’s reviewing drawings, raising TQs, identifying risks before they delay works, or ensuring ITPs are followed through, I take ownership of what I do. I don’t wait for things to go wrong, I stay involved and make sure they don’t.I hold an MSc in Advanced Construction Technologies & BIM from the University of Strathclyde, and I’m CSCS and certified. I’m always open to learning more, staying sharp on-site, and contributing to a team that builds with purpose.I’m now looking to move into infrastructure and civils, ideally where I can apply my reinforced concrete background and bring consistency, structure, and technical focus to challenging site environments.If you\'re working on something that needs those qualities, let’s connect.
