As a Research and Development Engineer, I apply my expertise in embedded systems, microelectronics, optical design and device physics to create innovative sensor technologies for chemical and bio-sensing applications. I have over 15 years of experience in CMOS compatible device fabrication and process integration for solid-state sensors, as well as a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology, Fabrication, and Embedded Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I am currently leading a team working on a stand-off gas sensing prototype with a multi-sensor array, which has the potential to improve the environment quality and safety of urban areas. I am also a visionary leader and an editor, having completed several online courses on leadership and financial markets, and having published multiple patents and articles in prestigious journals and media outlets. I am passionate about advancing the field of sensor science and engineering, and contributing to solving complex environment/health care problems.
