His professional journey spans across key industries such as maritime, healthcare, and finance. Currently, Sandeep serves as Manager for Carbon Accounts at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM). In this role, he manages a team of compliance officers, ensuring accurate accounting of EU Allowances in EU Emission Trading System (ETS) and FuelEU Penalty and Compliance balance. Timely collection of EU Allowances and compliance with regulatory requirements. Accounting of exposure in the Financial Statements. Prior to his tenure at BSM, Sandeep was the Manager of Internal Audit at Aster DM Healthcare, where he led the audit team for India region hospitals. Providing value added consulting to minimize the cost, enhance the process efficiency, recommending best practices to mitigate the risks and cost optimization. At KPMG India, as Assistant Manager for Governance, Risk, and Compliance Services, he conducted internal audits for a prominent NBFC, delivering valuable insights to board members and aiding in the implementation of control improvements.Sandeep’s early career includes significant contributions as a Consultant at Ernst & Young, where he conducted audits for major financial institutions, enhancing anti-money laundering protocols and KYC compliance. He also worked as an Executive in Internal Audit at Tube Investments of India Limited, where he conducted comprehensive audits of factory units with a focus on HR, payroll, and statutory compliance.Sandeep holds a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (2016) and a Bachelor of Commerce from MG University (2006).
