My work involves providing leadership working with a global team to develop game-changing pharmaceutical and nutritional product solutions in the companion pet health area. The role consists of building a short and long-term strategy and rolling out Agile, Consumer-Centric product propositions to meet Elanco\'s vision of providing food and companionship solutions that enrich life.Role responsibilities: • Hired to lead the R&D Innovation strategy for consumer package goods area and oversee key projects.• Ensure integration and synchronization of multi-year program-level strategies across Research & Development (R&D), Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Manufacturing. • Manage a portfolio of projects that span multiple geographies, technology types, and navigating regulatory pathways. • Understand consumer trends and translate them to implement product development propositions into actionable strategies. Execute projects that closely align with the unmet consumers’ needs and preferences.• Develop optimized project plans that account for in-house and external resource requirements for R&D and manufacturing, as well as development costs, cost of goods sold, and profit margins. • Establish and monitor appropriate project strategies, and communication plans to ensure successful project execution. Deliver project goals efficiently by managing project plans within the approved timelines & budget. • Effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle management through cost optimization, savings, synergies and efficiency.
