Working on a Supplier Footprint Optimization project for finding Alternate sources based on the customer’s requirement to provide the best cost proposal in all aspects for long-term Vision. • Understand the Scope of work and prepare the RFQ Packages based on customer inputs and will identify the suppliers based on customer criteria. • Preparing the complete BOM price benchmark report for understanding High cost & high lead time components. • Preparing Should Costing report based on customer inputs, BOM, the process involved, and any special process required for making the product also it would be useful for price negotiation purposes with suppliers. • Preparing Longlist suppliers based on product requirements and will shortlist the suppliers who will align with customer requirements. • Floating an RFQ package to shortlisted suppliers and will address their Quarries and follow up with suppliers to get the Quotation, analyze the quotes, and negotiate with the vendors for high-cost areas. • Evaluating the vendors under various processes such as technical pre-feasibility assessment, Quick industrial assessment, and Supplier quality analysis to know the suppliers manufacturing potential and capabilities. • Having strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.• Involved in discussions with supplier quality audit team to make them understand better about customer products. • Continuous coordination with vendors, customers, and the Engineering team for project completion. • Release sample PO to potential suppliers and investigate the samples before releasing Mass production order.
