   Design and developed an enterprise-scale access provisioning platform for both Target stores and headquarters (HQ), automating the entire lifecycle of user access requests while ensuring compliance and security requirements. The platform currently processes user access requests and serves as a critical component of Target’s retail operations.2. Improved transaction processing performance by 10x, reducing rule evaluation latency from ~100ms to ~10ms by introducing runtime object evaluation mechanisms and optimizing rule execution logic.3. Enhanced system performance and scalability through database query optimization and implementation of caching strategies using Redis, significantly improving response times for high-volume access requests.4. Contributed to the development of distributed systems using Microservices architecture, taking end-to-end ownership of the “Role Engine” microservice, a critical component responsible for determining and managing access permissions across Target store and enterprise systems.5. Designed and built a large-scale migration utility to transition from a vendor-based access management solution to an in-house platform, successfully migrating roles and groups and millions of membership records with 0% data loss.6. Extended and customized open-source frameworks to align with Target’s enterprise provisioning requirements, enabling seamless access integration with systems such as Active Directory, ServiceNow, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Manhattan.7.
