The JAX Preclinical Services department specializes in cutting-edge preclinical research across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Immuno-Oncology, Patient-Derived Xenografts (PDX), Humanized Mouse Models, Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD), Psoriasis, as well as Pharmacokinetics (PK) and Pharmacodynamics (PD). Our work supports the advancement of translational science and accelerates the development of innovative therapies.As a Scientist in Preclinical Services, I :• Conduct advanced research on innovative humanized mouse models, facilitating preclinical studies for a wide range of disease applications.• Lead preclinical research for in vivo evaluation of CART efficacy, cytokine release syndrome (CRS) using PBMC humanized mice models, efficacy and safety of Bispecific T cell engager (BiTE) therapy and other PK/PD studies for client\'s test agents in humanized mice models. • Manage & oversee the operational aspects of planning, executing, and monitoring project work across core departments such as Cell Biology and Humanized Mice. • With a focus on ensuring compliance with operational protocols and quality assurance, I manage up to 30 studies simultaneously, each lasting between 4 to 12 weeks. • Responsible for staff training and development, administrative duties, and hands-on research with murine models for oncology and immunology.
