Requirements Analysis – Examine the business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed testing plans and test cases.Test Planning and Design- Develop comprehensive test plans, including scope, objectives, and test strategies and Design test cases to cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the system as well as Prepare test data for executing test cases.Test Execution– Execute tests manually or using automation tools. Check mainframe applications against specifications via different kinds of testing such as functionality, regression, integration, system and acceptance tests carried out by the user.Defect Management- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools and Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and ensure timely resolution.Re-test the fixed bugs to confirm patches.Documentation- Documented text including test plans, case studies used in researches in details as well for example prepare a defect report. Prepare detailed reports on testing execution.Collaboration and Communication- Collaborate with cross-functional activities with developers, business analysts and project managers. Every day stand-ups, sprint planning meetings among other agile rituals should be held where you can share information about your successes in this kind of work as well as problems faced during it with interested parties like stakeholders who are involved in different departments of the company or partners taking part together with it.
