Responsibilities include collaboration with the project management team (Engineering, Procurement) with set-up and operation of the Quality process throughout projects. Review of supplier submittals for compliance to code, design, and purchase requirements. Supplier submittals may include, but not limited to, quality control program manuals and procedures, inspection and test plans, welding procedures specifications, welder qualifications, heat treatment procedures, and nondestructive examination procedures. Establish and coordinate supplier inspections, verifying quality programs and supplier performance. Performing supplier assessments/ audits to identify potential concerns in the quality process or Quality Management System (QMS). Provide support in the development and implementation of improvement/corrective plans to achieve compliance. Review, track, and verify nonconformances (NCRs) and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to determine corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). Develop inspection and test plans that assure quality expectations are executed and met. Implement Health and Safety requirements and monitor activities to ensure safety standards are being maintained.
