Designed model of micro fluidic device with Auto-CAD. Simulated device with COMSOL 2. Clean room fabrication of MEMS device on Si substrate Photolithography: • Designed Chrome mask for UV exposure • Developed method for patterning 5µm features on Si wafer using wet etch techniques : Softlithography:• Developed method for successful transfer of patterned features on Si wafer to PDMS substrate• Developed method for high throughput production of hybrid PDMS-Glass MEMS devices. • Optimized plasma etching for PDMS surface modification to control capillary electrophoresis Optimize Sputter deposition of Gold on substrate Demonstrated successful trapping of single mammalian cancer cell in the developed potable point of care diagnostic device Developed the device to be a prototype for selective trapping of mammalian breast cancer cells.
