ABOUT SANAM SUNNY GHAZANFAR MALAK

The description below the arrow is how I used to operate until I confronted the recognition that all my surprise corporate layoff experiences from the biggest firms are not a reflection of my performance and dedication to the respective roles, but, given how large corporate environments operate and the associated job-hunting process, are a reflection of a pattern with Corporate America that will always prevent career stability as a Resource Manager. More on this later, but now onwards to step 1 and 2, of my 6 part solopreneurship template (more on this later as well)-> While great resource management has always been understood to be a combination between art and science, and while the numbers, schedules, and headcount constitute more of the science side, the art side, or rather the \"heart\" side recognizes that great resource management is about people in a very human sense.Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping teams at firms like KPMG, Grant Thornton, ICF, and Citrin Cooperman find their balance — aligning the right talent to the right projects at the right time. What drives me is seeing how a well-matched assignment can transform both project outcomes and people’s professional journeys. My work lives at the intersection of human insight and intelligent systems. I use AI-powered analytics and forecasting tools to anticipate capacity needs, close utilization gaps, and bring structure to complex delivery pipelines — all while keeping empathy at the center of decision-making. I’ve learned that resource management is equal parts logic and heart.Whether it’s modernizing digital staffing systems, building cross-practice scheduling gateways, or supporting leaders through shifting priorities, I approach every challenge as an opportunity to connect people with purpose.Today, my focus is on evolving resource management into a strategic, human-centered discipline — one that blends technology, emotional intelligence, and business acumen to help organizations thrive in a changing world.
