About Sanam Mozaffari
What fuels me is the leap from concept to reality. I love the process of prototyping and scrappily developing technology with experience in laser communications, photonic devices, biomedical imaging.Currently my role is a principal systems integration engineer with a focus on optics and photonics at Taara, originated at Google\'s X the moonshot factory. Our main goal at Taara is to provide fast, affordable connectivity using beams of light. Our technology of free space optical communication provides the speed of fiber with the flexibility of wireless.At UC Berkeley, I designed and built an ophthalmic diagnostic systems for novel optical biomarkers for neural function with a focus on adaptive optics and coherence phase imaging. Enjoy creating light-based interactive art, a passion for the interplay of light and technology.
