SKILLS
ABOUT SANAD AFANEH
I\'m a results-driven developer with hands-on experience building and supporting data processing systems in highly regulated financial environments. I specialize in ETL development, job orchestration, and system reliability. In my current role, I troubleshoot and enhance complex SQL Server processes, SSIS packages, and stored procedures that feed into critical liquidity reports. I use Git for version control and work closely with upstream data providers and audit teams to ensure compliance and data quality.Previously, I built and deployed a full-stack ETL service from DEV to PROD — written in Python — to extract and process data from Excel, CSV, XML, and SQL sources. I scheduled the pipelines using AutoSys, and developed supporting automation. I’ve also worked with Apache Airflow for orchestration in a different project (Winex).I\'m especially passionate about making complex data systems more reliable, scalable, and auditable — whether that means rewriting code, refactoring a job schedule, or building a custom pipeline from scratch.
