About Sanaa Syed
I\'m currently working as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer where my expertise lies in helping design, build and maintain event streaming using Apache Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes. I\'m a huge advocate for women in STEM and have been a mentor to over 100 women in programs such as Technovation, STEMing UP (hEr VOLUTION) and various hackathons since 2018. I\'ve also spoken at many conferences, hackathons and events such as CAN-CWIC, CUSEC, Hack the North, Girls UP Oakville, STEMing UP and many more on technical and career professional development topics. I\'m open to speaking on podcasts and events on anything tech related! In my free time, you can find me spending time outdoors!
