I love building software. I am passionate about solving practical problems using technology. I believe software has the power to transform and improve the lives of people around the world, and I am grateful to be born into this digital era to actually experience it and contribute to it. I have over 16 years of experience in software development involving C/C++, Python, and Java, along with many other scripting languages.During this time, I have written product specifications, developed them, and have worked on to make them a success at the customer end. Along with programming, I have mentored the team, facilitated team engagement, written white papers, and engaged with customers. I am currently working at Interra Systems in the Digital Media Group. My work involves learning in-depth about captions, subtitles, audio/video compression, file format exchange standards, and machine learning to solve real-life problems and improve the quality of workflows for our customers.My latest work involves developing an ML-based solution for automating captioning workflows at media content producers and broadcasters\' end.In the past, I have worked at Microsoft IDC in Windows and Windows Live Group, where I owned the Remote Desktop Services module and worked on security issues in it across all Windows platforms.Prior to that, I worked at ADOBE SYSTEMS, INDIA, in the Adobe Creative Suite team. Besides, I am a mother. And of course, like every mom, I am the mother of the sweetest kid in the world :)Being a mom might mean that my hands are full, but so is my heart. I strongly believe in an equal world for everyone and strive to contribute to it.
