Currently working as the Terrestrial Acoustic Sensor Array (TASA) lead for systems engineering and integration, hardware design team, and system fielding, maintenance, and testing. TASA has been deployed and tested with commercial and government partners to provide noncooperative aircraft detection with a high probability of detect. TASA is a Detect and Avoid (DAA) acoustic-based sensor system that alerts on incoming aircraft within UAS operating airspace to allow for Beyond Visual Line-Of-Sight (BVLOS) flight, enabling operators to fly longer, cheaper, and safer. First to receive FAA BVLOS waiver 14 CFR 107.31, allowing unrestricted flights with our UAS partner.
