Hi! I am a Final-Year Software Engineering PhD Candidate at UC Irvine and an ex-Applied Research Intern at Oracle Health AI. My research specialization is in LLMs for Software Engineering, Code Generation, Health AI. In my research, I have developed domain-specific Supervised Fine-Tuning, as well as Reinforcement Learning (GRPO) pipelines, including custom evalalution suites, to post-train and evaluate LLMs for- Code Generation: Converting serial C/C++ programs in to GPU-compatible parallel programs- Enhancing Clinical SOAP Note Generation from ambient Doctor-Patient Dialogue Conversations using business-aligned reward modeling in a evaluation-integrated reinforcement learning pipeline. Prior to LLMs, my research focus was in Quantum Computing for Software Engineering problems. My works have been published in OOPSLA. I am looking for full-time positions as Applied Researcher / Scientist to contribute and collbarate on research in AI solutions for Healthcare, Software Engineering, Finance, HPC. Visa Status: F-1, CPT/ STEM OPT eligible.For M.S. Theisis in Software Engineering, I developed a novel quantum computing algorithm for solving the code clone detection problem by expressing it as a graph/subgraph isomorphism problem mapped onto the QUBO framework of adiabatic quantum computing. This work is extensible beyond software engineering to all kinds of graph comparisons (think DNA matching, circuit equivalence, drug discovery and search, and many more).
