   Contributed significantly to a mission-critical SQL database sharding project for Blob Metadata, migrating a subset of highly-trafficked tables from an existing database to a new one, resulting in a 16% reduction in overall IOPS. Our successful migration strategy became a model for other similar migration efforts across the company.Key Achievements:• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary owner of Docusign\'s production blob metadata database service (~25k peak read QPS;~12k peak write QPS), overseeing release and deployment processes and ensuring high availability and rapid failover across 5 independent global regions.• Executed the high-stakes migration with zero customer impact, no downtime, and no latency regression, ensuring a seamless transition for all customers.• Owned and delivered multiple features end-to-end, including bidirectional replication to maintain data flow to the source during migration fallback scenarios, enabling high availability and seamless failover.• Implemented industry-standard observability practices by designing and deploying monitoring, logging, and metrics using PromQL, Grafana, and proprietary tools.• Enhanced CI/CD pipelines by increasing integration test coverage and adding automated checks to pull request workflows for continuous quality assurance.
