About Sam Fisher
Experienced Director with a successful history of working in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry.As of March 2019, Sam joined Element, as Divisional Director for Environmental Europe. The division is an exciting group of businesses comprised of environmental analytical laboratories (in the UK and South Africa), Asbestos inspection and testings, stack emissions testing and occupational hygiene consultancy. Prior to Element Sam was Global Director for Bureau Veritas’ Oil Condition Monitoring group with responsibility for 17 laboratories worldwide. He has a range of experience in commercial laboratory testing and previously ran the North American minerals division for Bureau Veritas. With over 16 years of commercial lab management experience, one consistent area of focus has been on digital solutions. In 2017 Sam sponsored a project to partner with Microsoft to leverage machine learning in the area of predictive commentary and recommendations.Sam earned his Bachelor of Science from Bath University UK, and has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
