A. Testing & Validation:Plan full vehicle Crash & sled tests for Passive safety system evaluations. Certification and Validation tests as per Global Passive Safety regulations, NCAPs and DVPs.Sign-off Vehicle test setup, post processing, inspection. analyzing test data and summarizing test results using test data analysis tools, Communicate Test results and analysis outcomes to Relevant Stakeholders.Vehicle Performance evaluation against Regulatory and NCAP Requirements, Developing crash performance targets & specifications for Test & safety systems.Post test Verification Identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective countermeasures.Plan & Execute Vehicle and component level testing as per DVP, check feasibility across local and global testing facilities.B. Homologation:Homologation for Domestic and International markets (Europe, Japan, USA) for passenger cars. Coordination with Certifying agencies and technical services Develop Homologation Test plans & Manage Testing Activities for Safety and performance compliance as per Indian, EU & US standards for on time Project delivery.Prepare Technical Specifications, documents and compile relevant drawings required for type approval.Worst case selection for Type approval, monitor changes, Carryout change impact analysis.C. Regulatory affairs:Staying abreast with Automotive passive safety Regulations and NCAPs across the globe, provide inputs to Design and development team for preparation of design and verification plans to achieve performance targets.Study & Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of regulations, NCAPs, analyze regulatory gaps and draw inferences.Provide technical support with internal Design and development teams, to ensure that vehicles are designed and built in accordance with relevant regulations.Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, financial estimation, budgeting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
