Raised in eastern Quebec alongside the picturesque St. Lawrence River, Samuel was immersed in considered civic spaces and vernacular architecture. As a child with a creative but rational mind, Samuel developed a sense of wonder about what made up his surroundings—a curiosity for aesthetic, characteristics of materials, and a sense for quality environments.In his practice as a bilingual architect registered in both Ontario and Quebec, Samuel values contributing to a collaborative culture and guiding concepts from early ideation through to well‑crafted construction details.
