ABOUT SAMUELE SOIS

I am a Data Scientist with over two decades of international experience across Artificial Intelligence, Consulting, Academia, Aerospace and Automotive. My career has taken me across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, from contributing to major aviation programs and leading Design and Engineering for elite global car manufacturers, to advising start-ups and multinational firms, and more recently, conducting applied research in AI-driven Mobility, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity.Early in my career, after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, I worked as an Aircraft Structures and Interiors Engineer for a major Latin American airline during its transformation from a regional carrier into a multinational aviation group. I later became an Aviation Lecturer in Singapore, where I trained hundreds of aviation technicians, aerospace engineers, and airline pilots. These experiences provided me with a solid technical foundation, shaped my work ethic, and strengthened my ability to effectively convey complex ideas.Over the past decade, I’ve led Design and Engineering projects at McLaren, Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, and now Tata Motors. I’ve achieved full proficiency with industry-standard CAD and engineering tools and have delivered across every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept definition and styling to modelling, simulation, prototyping, testing, and final release. My focus has often been on interior and exterior trim components, kinematics, and innovation streams, with a strong emphasis on design precision, structural robustness, and eco-compatibility.Alongside my engineering roles, I’ve worked extensively as a consultant and advisory board member for multinational firms, innovation hubs, and ambitious start-ups. This consulting experience has allowed me to support projects at the forefront of materials science, design trends, advanced mobility, and emerging technologies, often bridging disciplines and shaping strategic direction.In recent years, I’ve embraced Artificial Intelligence, working with leading consultancies and start-ups in areas such as Automotive AI, Machine Learning, coding, and Data Annotation. I hold a Master’s degree in AI and Data Science and am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, where my research focuses on AI-driven Mobility and Cybersecurity.My goal is to combine the rigour and method of an engineer with the insight and vision of a data scientist, at a time when AI is transforming how we design and interact with machines.
