ABOUT SAMUELE RISOLI
I’m a postdoctoral researcher in Plant Pathology at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Pisa (Italy). I’ve experience in analysing the expression of genes involved in plant defence mechanisms, the molecular identification of fungal species of phytopathological interest and for the characterization and quantification of plant metabolites through ionic and liquid chromatography systems (IC and UHPLC). In the last few months, my research activities have been specifically focused on hyperspectral and metabolic phenotyping approaches for the early detection and monitoring of plant diseases and abiotic stress.
