Samuel Worthy is an experienced BIM Manager, Project Director and Project Manager that has led BIM, design and delivery teams on complex linear infrastructure and event projects. As the BIM Lead for Transportation at RS & H, Samuel leads the assessment, standardization, and implementation of new software and technology on linear infrastructure projects and throughout the Business Unit. As a Project Director and Project Manager, Samuel has been responsible for project budgets, client relationship management, risk analysis, contract management, and procurement. Samuel has provided senior level management oversight and leadership to pursuit and project delivery teams.Prior to RS & H, Samuel Worthy joined AtkinsRealis as the National BIM Manager for Highways to help lead Digital Transformation and BIM Implementation. At Apex Circuit Design Samuel lead the delivery of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix as the Project Director. As the Integrated Delivery and Automation Leader at HNTB in the design-build group, Samuel assessed technology and software for use on projects, developed technology implementation plans, and coordinated design integration procedures with project management and discipline leads. As the southeast region lead for the Civil Infrastructure Information Modelling (CIIM) team for AECOM, Samuel coordinated with subject matter experts (SME’s) throughout the firm to identify and manage technology to be utilized on horizontal infrastructure projects. Samuel developed and led the implementation of standardized processes for utilizing 3D, 4D, and 5D modelling to improve efficiency and value of deliverables to clients and stakeholders.As a project manager and discipline lead for AECOM in the Southeast region, Samuel led engineering teams in evaluating project advertisement requirements, cost estimates, and alternative designs. Samuel coordinated directly with construction teams on development of alternative designs to better address project goals within specific design constraints. Samuel also led obtaining approvals of final engineering plans and designs with clients and stakeholders.
