Delivery of Safety Management/ Governance, and safe introduction to service of the Lightweight Missile Air Systems, Sea Venom capability onto Royal Navy and French DGA platforms. This role provides assurance that the equipment design is safe, airworthy, and that the Equipment Contribution Risk to Life to the platforms Duty Holder Chain is known, sentenced ALARP, and if required correctly elevated to the Platform Delivery Teams or Duty Holders. This role involves : · Assurance of the evidence that underpins the Sea Venom Safety Requirements in preparation for the Requirements Acceptance Working Group.Updating the body of evidence to Support the Sea Venom Acceptance Working Group. · Updating the body of evidence to supports the Sea Venom equipment Safety & Environmental Case Report which provides the evidence to support the Ordnance Munitions Explosive Safety Review Panel submission. · Development of the UK Sea Venom Hazard Log and recommendations of ALARP Statements at the UK Hazard Log Working Groups so that Hazards to Accidents Sequences can assessed in preparation for the Project Safety and Environmental Committee. · Maintaining an equipment safety audit trail to ensure equipment safety related information is traceable and available for audit. · Reviewing and updating of the Sea Venom Delivery Team Safety Management Plan.
