As a Civil Affairs Team Leader and Planner at US Army, I supervise a trained team of three Civil Affairs specialists, and execute complex operations involving multiple organizations and stakeholders. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in American History from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and I am conversational in French language.One of my proudest achievements was securing the first Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Symposium in Northwest Africa, which aligned the nation\'s national action plan with US strategic objectives, and resulted in a WPS proposal focused on expanding engagement with the local populace. Immediately after my time in Africa, I was entrusted to coordinate for an exercise in South Korea. Asides from taking full advantage of the proximity to Korean culture and cuisine, I successfully integrated our headquarters into a multi-echelon staff in support of real-world military contingency requirements.I am a trusted liaison that takes ownership in following through for others, and a professional that handles complex problems by leading teams focused on strategically sound goals. I am a consummate learner that listens first, seeks out genuine connections, and works tirelessly to foster a growth mindset for myself and for others. I am passionate about enhancing interagency collaboration and communication. I am looking for new opportunities to leverage my skills and experience in operations management.
