ABOUT SAMUEL ROSS
I am an Environmental Economist with professional experience in team leadership, management, data analytics, data management, and the energy and energy efficiency industries. I have a deep understanding of natural resource management, especially related to climate change science & policy. I am proficient with numerous associated quantitative methods. These include, but are not limited to, ecological/economic modeling, econometrics, spatial analysis and GIS, policy analysis, and international environmental politics. In addition to the Microsoft office suite, I am an expert in R and SQL, and highly competent with STATA, MATLAB, and ARCGIS, among other tools. After I completed my Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Climate Change at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the fall of 2017, I joined Optimal Energy, Inc, where I strive to integrate my data science and environmental expertise with Optimal’s work at the cutting edge of energy efficiency policy and assessment of potential.
