About Samuel Robinson
My name is Samuel Robinson and I am a laboratory planner and architectural designer with a passion for the design of projects that foster educational growth in the higher education sector and advancement in the fields of science and technology. For the past eight years of my career I have worked on a multitude of fascinating and exciting projects that have aimed to bring aesthetic beauty to the buildings’ surroundings and create environments that maximize the functionality of each client’s unique pedagogy. These experiences have ranged through all phases of a project, from preliminary design through to construction administration. During this time I have been involved in the initial studies of the building form’s relationship to the site, the analysis of spatial adjacencies and programmatic requirements, the development of learning spaces and laboratories at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and the creation of details of interior and exterior building conditions. I enjoy working on highly complex projects and discovering solutions to critical questions that arise during all phases of development. The collaborative process of architecture is also a part of the design process that I truly relish. Working with the user groups to further understand their needs and desires, developing concepts with the project team and coordinating the various building systems with the engineers are all aspects of the profession that I immensely enjoy.
