ABOUT SAMUEL REASON

I am currently in my final year studying at Eton College. I thoroughly enjoy my A-level subjects: Theology (Religious Studies), Geography and English Literature, and am predicted an A* in each. I hope to read English Literature at University, continuing my nine years of cathedral and collegiate choral experience with a college choral scholarship. Presently I am the Keeper of the Choir along with being the Editor-In-Chief of \'The Chronicle\'- Eton\'s student-run magazine. I am also the secretary of the Law, Vocation, Education and Literary societies and am a leading committee member of the Journalism and Psychology societies. In this past year I broke the world record for \'the youngest person to visit every country in Europe\' doing the vast majority solo and self-funded. As I travel, I enjoy reading local literature, researching and communicating with people from all the cultures I encounter. This has led to my writing and photography receiving high commendations in many external and internal competitions. This past year I have helped raise over for the charities IntoUniversity and Winston\'s Wish with the help of a team-organised sponsored cycle ride and swimathon. I am hoping to break into the world of freelance foreign corresponding to add further purpose to my travels and welcome any suggestions regarding this.
