Our vision is that every child and young person in the UK has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive. We do this by working closely with children and their families, from before they’re born until their twenties.Duties include • Providing county-wide play and leisure activities for children and young people with disabilities and learning needs, aged 0-19. • Building positive relationships with families and work with professionals to ensure we support each child to acquire the best outcomes.• Promoting young people with their independence and wellbeing as they participate in play and leisure activities including swimming, cinema trips, Go Ape, bowling, and farm visits to name a few.• Assisting in sessions that involve participation in activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, construction toys, outdoor games and reading books. • Supporting children and young people to help promote and measure outcomes of physical and social development alongside communication and imaginative growth. • Carrying out personal care and administering medication (training provided)
