ABOUT SAMUEL ONAIWI
Mechanical Piping engineer with seventeen (17+) years’ experience in engineering design, construction management and Decommissioning. Having been actively involved in several projects (Locally & Internationally) from Bid, conceptual design phase to final installation and commissioning, I have a wealth of experience in FEED, DED, Construction, Commissioning, and provision of engineering support throughout the entire life of both Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Installations and final Decommissioning of assets. Currently providing mechanical/piping engineering and construction management services on a number of projects. I am looking after the general engineering/design, fabrication and construction activities from initial concept to final hand over. Inputs to projects include but not limited to project resource management, man-hour estimate, review of calculations, studies, data sheets, specifications and reports for various process systems, Stress Analysis, review, checking and approval of design and fabrication drawings, managing site construction, ensuring strict adherence to CDM regulations, input to test packs and commissioning procedures.
